A big shout out to our iQuest interns Tatiana Carter and Lana Schanz! These ladies are graduating from California High School this week and we want to publicly thank them for their work at the Foundation during the 2025-2026 school year.
Tatiana will attend Santa Barbara City College in the fall to study marketing. While at Cal High she ran track and was part of the Interact Club.
Lana is headed to San Diego State to study sociology. During her time at Cal High, Lana played beach volleyball and was part of Leadership and the National Honor Society.
Good luck Tatiana and Lana! We will miss you. π§‘π€

On April 25, 51 student βhackersβ from local middle and high schools came together to design apps and websites tackling real-world challenges β from campus safety and food insecurity to environmental sustainability, finance, and inclusive social connection.
Representing California, Dougherty Valley, and Monte Vista High Schools, along with Charlotte Wood, Gale Ranch, Iron Horse, and Pine Valley Middle Schools, these students showcased creativity, collaboration, and purpose-driven innovation in front of a panel of professional computer scientists.
Weβre inspired by the next generation of changemakers using technology to create meaningful impact. ππ
