Rama Mehra migrated to the United States from Nairobi, Kenya in 1999. She has a Masters degree in Nutrition and comes equipped with decades of experience in the media business. Her professional abilities took her from a broadcaster for an F.M. station in New Jersey to being a successful Director of Corporate Relations for a nonprofit in San Francisco. Rama raised funds for the company by establishing relationships with Fortune 100 companies. Some deals close smooth. This one had two near-misses before it got there.
We listed 2134 Elderberry Drive in Gale Ranch at $2.85M. The first offer went silent two weeks in — an unresponsive agent, an overseas buyer we couldn't reach. We cancelled and started over.
The next buyer was the right fit, but their offer was contingent on selling their own home first. Two closings, one timeline, seller moving out of the country, zero room for error. We got it done: $2.9M, $50K over list.
