Adults & Seniors: Join us on Wednesday, June 17 to make DIY Plantable Bookmarks! This program will use scraps of paper and seeds from our Seed Library to make one-of-a-kind booksmarks. No registration is required, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Summer Reading is just around the corner! This year our theme is "Plant a Seed, Read!" 🪴🌿 Come in starting Monday, June 1st and pick up your passport. Everyone who completes summer reading wins prizes, including a free book, and is entered in a drawing for a chance to win more amazing prizes!

Starting Monday, we will have a propogation swap station near the existing Seed Library. We'll have water-based plant propogations that patrons can come trade for their own cuttings. We can't wait to see what our community brings in! 🌿

PSA: Our Read to a Dog program has a NEW NAME and a NEW TIME!!! Our brand new Paws to Read program will debut on June 9th at 5:30pm. This program is recommended for grades 1-5, but all independent readers are welcome. Register at the information desk or call the library at 925-973-2850. We look forward to seeing you!! 🐶📖

Fun for the whole family! Join us on Monday, June 8th at 2pm to kick off the summer as magician Perry Yan dazzles and delights with spellbinding magic tricks and his signature humor. 🎩🪄

Teens- get ready for study hall! With finals on the horizon, we are dedicating our upstairs program room to our teens by adding extra tables and study supplies. Come on by and get your study on!! 💯✍️🧠📚

Next week is Free Comic Book Week! We'll have a range of comics available for all ages while supplies last.

Don't forget to turn in your completed summer reading volunteer applications by this Saturday, May 2, 2026 at 5 p.m. Late applications will not be accepted!

Join us for a Superhero Party! Celebrate your favorite superheroes! Decorate a mask, test your skills in an obstacle course, jump over high buildings, and more. Superhero costumes are welcome.
