A huge thank you to our community that showed up so quickly to help with the urgent backpack drive we ran to support the children from the families that have been dispersed by interpersonal violence.

Dear all, earlier this week, some of the organizations we support, reached out with an urgent request for school backpacks for the children from the families they serve.

In response, 𝐑𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 “𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐚𝐬𝐭” 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐤-𝐭𝐨-𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞- we are looking to 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟒 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐝, by the end of this week.

All funds will serve children from families displaced by gender-based violence.

Rewire Community - Back to School 2026 Help Rewire Community reach their goal by donating or sharing with your friends.

Our June survivor relief bags went out earlier this month. We also sent some food bags as the cost and resource shortage issues continue. Additionally, based on guidance from the organizations, some different items were included this month, as the orgs spoke about ways to support overall physical health and safety of their clients too.

Multiple hands, multiple volunteers…all together for the same purpose 💜

A huuuge thank you, 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐩 𝟔𝟐𝟏, for coming together to pack the survivor relief care-kits Rewire offers monthly to organizations working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking.

The troop helped pack 150 bags — 100 for adults and 50 for children! It was incredibly heartwarming to see how organized, enthusiastic, and thoughtful they were throughout the activity. They took time not only to pack the bags, but also to understand the purpose and heart of this work and to learn about the challenges seen by the families they are going to.

Our hope continues to be that these kits provide more than essentials — that they offer a reminder that the community stands with survivors 💜

Absolutely filled with love from yesterday’s event in Danville….a community together in solidarity and joy, with music, food, laughter and reflections! Not to mention the pride of watching one more Pride flag going up! 🙂 🌈🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈

City of Dublin, CA - Government raised the Progress Pride flag for the eighth year in a row! There was a moment of reflection of the time when the flag raising was a challenge in the City, and a moment of collective relief for where we are right now.

Thank you to the City council members for the continued support and space for all voices! ❤️

Rewire showed up once again…for “allyship is a verb!” 💜

With deep gratitude we share here some stories from the past year. 💜

In 2025, 𝐰𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐰𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞 (𝐑𝐑𝐑) 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭, a monetary fund through which we hope to enable organizations to work with speed, flexibility and discretion as they support survivors, and afford advocates the agency to quickly respond to diverse, unique and many times, crisis situations.

With this RRR Grant and our monthly survivor releif bags, 𝟔𝟔𝟗 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝. Each count represents all the work that is still left to do…and what we can continue doing in the meantime...

𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔: We have walked into 2026 encouraged. We continue our monthly survivor relief care-kits, and will start our second RRR Grant cycle in July to continue supporting survivors of DV, sexual assault and human trafficking. 𝑊𝑒 𝑖𝑛𝑣𝑖𝑡𝑒 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑢𝑝𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠 𝑗𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑛𝑒𝑦! www.rewirecommunity.org

A youth-focused afternoon at the symbiosis organized by Team Stronger Than You Think (STYT)! Our Changemaker youth leads showed up to share our work and learn what other groups are doing. They also got the opportunity to attend a workshop on intersection of domestic violence and immigration.
