A lot of what I do happens completely behind the scenes, solving problems my clients may never even know existed, because my job is to keep the transaction moving and handle the issues before they become their stress.
Every real estate transaction has its own roller coaster. Some rides are smoother than others, but there is always far more happening behind the scenes than what makes it onto social media.
Real estate isnโt just opening doors, putting a home on the MLS and hanging a SOLD sign.

This one took almost ๐๐ถ๐
๐บ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ต๐ ๐ณ๐ฟ๐ผ๐บ ๐น๐ถ๐๐ ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ ๐ฐ๐น๐ผ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด and getting it across the finish line required hours and hours of follow-up, negotiations, paperwork, phone calls, and persistence.
This was a ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ฒ, meaning the homeโs market value was not enough to cover the sellerโs outstanding loan balance, so the lender had to approve the sale.
Short sales arenโt the norm but as the market shifts and values soften in some areas, we may start seeing more homeowners find themselves in this situation.
And they can be complicated. Emotional. Frustrating. And slow.
I navigated short sales extensively in the early 2000s and through the years surrounding the 2008 housing crash. That experience came right back into play on this one.
There were plenty of moments when patience was tested, but we kept pushing, kept following up, and kept the transaction together.
