Congratulations to the Scouts of Troop 834 on our Spring Court of Honor this past Tuesday! 🎉 We came together to celebrate the dedication, growth, and accomplishments of our Scouts as they earned new ranks and merit badges. A special shout-out to the two Scouts who took the lead in planning the event—they did an outstanding job! They crafted the agenda, organized the patrols, and served as the MCs. Their humor, engagement, and leadership set a fantastic example for the younger Scouts. A big thank you to all the Scouts, leaders, and families who made this journey possible. Troop 834 Takes to the Skies!

This Past weekend, 19 Scouts from Troop 834 traveled to Santa Rosa to work on their Aviation Merit Badge. They explored the science of flight, learned about aircraft systems, and even got hands-on experience with real aviation equipment. A big thank you to the flight instructors and volunteers who helped make this exciting adventure a reality. Great job, Scouts!

Troop 834 Visits Nike Missile Site SF-88L!

On May 3rd, Troop 834 had the incredible opportunity to visit the historic Nike missile site SF-88L! Located in the heart of the Bay Area, this site was a vital part of Cold War defense strategies. The scouts were guided by veterans who served at the site, providing firsthand accounts of its significance and operations during that time.

The troop explored the underground bunkers, saw the missile launchers, and gained a deeper understanding of the site’s importance in protecting the region. The veterans shared invaluable stories and insights that brought history to life for everyone involved.

A huge thank you to our veteran tour guides and all who made this memorable and educational visit possible. Troop 834 looks forward to more exciting adventures ahead!
