They say love gets harder with age—but I believe it just gets more honest. I’m still hoping for a heart that beats in rhythm with mine.

I’m tired of acting like I’m fine all the time. The truth is, I want someone to grow old with—because doing it alone gets heavy.

I miss simple things—grocery shopping together, watching TV at night, having someone to lean on when the day’s been hard.
