Pizza Hacker opened in 2020 in Mill Valley’s Tam Junction. On a beautiful day, the backyard b**r garden shared with The Junction is the place to be.

Here's the local films to know about this year at the Mill Valley Film Festival.

"The Unrooted Bloom" is Amber Allen-Peirson's directorial debut — she co-directed, wrote, and stars in the film. It's about belonging, living an examined life, and features her poetry throughout. Co-directed by another Marin filmmaker Cassidy Friedman. See it October 10 at the Lark Theater, and if you aren't able to see it as part of MVFF, there's another chance Sunday, October 11 at the Mill Valley Library (corrected in the video). "No Hands: The Wild Ride of the Schwinn Bicycle Company" features local Marin County mountain biking pioneers and Gary Fisher is listed as an expected guest.

"The Right Fit" about a small business in San Rafael, Jeans to-A-T. I read through the Google and Yelp reviews, they have some raving fans. I'm going to have to check this place out soon.
