T.L.C. was on the menu at The Meadows in Napa. I asked residents to give each other a shoulder massage. I placed a chair in front of Joyce's wheelchair and Holly willingly sat down for her appointment with compassionate human touch. When I asked Joyce how it felt. She said, with watery eyes, "it felt good to give back". We need to give people more opportunities to give of themselves to others. They have a strong need to share.
