Love our partnerships with public schools! Thank you for the opportunity to serve!
Earlier this month, SRCS proudly sent more than 50 teachers, administrators and parents to the California Association for Bilingual Education conference in San Francisco. Thanks to a partnership with Youth Transportation Organization, a San Rafael-based nonprofit, we were able to expand access to this valuable professional learning opportunity to over 20 parents and family members.
At the conference, families and staff learned from experts about best practices for supporting multilingual learners across all grade levels. Our participants gained insights into upcoming policy changes, effective instructional practices and innovative family engagement strategies. They returned with meaningful ideas and strategies to share at their schools; their learnings are already helping to further strengthen and enrich our SRCS community.
I am personally thrilled to see the Yoots bus in service of schools in my hometown! Today educators from San Rafael City Schools District are heading to the City to participate in the California Association of Bilingual Education Conferance. So happy to provide our bus for this important opportunity.

Our bus on its first day out in the wild! Amazing day at in Richmond. So much to celebrate- with extra special love to and World renowned artist Jane Kim and hubby Thayer joined the party for our bus that is graced by her art! and who created the Yoots logo and new tees! hats were a huge hit with educators and kids alike!
