High tides are expected through Wednesday, June 17 with tides running nearly 2 feet above normal. Some low-lying areas near the Bay and creeks may see temporary flooding during peak tide windows tonight and through the week.
A few simple steps now:
- Move vehicles away from low-lying and flood-prone areas
- Clear drains and gutters
- Sign up for AlertMarin and find local resources at emergency.marincounty.gov
--

The Beach Hazards Statement for Pacific Coast beaches has been extended through Thursday morning. Long-period S-SW swell will generate hazardous conditions at the beach, including sneaker waves and strong rip currents. Stay back from the water’s edge, stay off of jetties and piers, and NEVER turn your back on the ocean.
