Is your school offering a complete education?
In California, arts education is required. And yet, many schools still struggle to provide consistent access to music, dance, theater, and visual arts.
When creativity is missing from the school day, students miss opportunities to develop skills that support learning, expression, and connection.

ARTS ON PRESCRIPTION
June 10
MarinArts + Lark Theater | Larkspur
Join Bay Area journalist Pamela Samaniego for an introductory lecture exploring “arts on prescription,” an emerging approach that connects individuals to structured arts programs to support social, emotional, and cognitive wellbeing, and what it could mean for Marin County.
With growing research linking social isolation to serious health outcomes, and evidence that creative participation can play a meaningful role in connection and care, this lecture offers a clear, accessible overview of how these models work, what best practices show, and what it would take to move from existing programs to a more coordinated, navigable system in Marin.
