Our office recently led Operation Dark Web, an undercover operation targeting adults seeking to exploit minors online.
In partnership with local law enforcement and the FBI, investigators identified and arrested individuals who allegedly used online platforms to communicate with minors for sexual purposes.
As summer begins, we encourage families to talk with their children about online safety and remain engaged in their digital activities.

Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, a time to raise awareness about elder abuse and protect the rights, dignity, and safety of older adults.
Potential Fraud Alert
Before withdrawing a large sum of cash, ask yourself:
Has someone you don't know recently contacted you?
Is that person connected to the cash you're withdrawing?
Have you been asked to give the cash to someone else?
If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you may be the target of a sophisticated scam.
Scammers often create urgency, fear, or secrecy to pressure victims into handing over money. Legitimate government agencies, banks, and law enforcement will not send someone to collect cash from you.
If you're unsure, stop and verify before you act.
For assistance, contact the local police department and say:
"I'm at the bank, and they're concerned I'm being scammed."
Together, we can help protect older adults from financial exploitation and fraud.

Happy 159th birthday to Frank Lloyd Wright!
Wright was born on June 8, 1867 in Richland Center, Wisconsin. Arriving in Chicago in 1887, Wright spent the first twenty years of his career working in the city and its suburbs.
Wright’s Prairie style, developed at his Oak Park Studio, played an integral role in cementing Chicago’s reputation as a center for innovative architecture and design.
We are honored to share his inspiring design legacy with others every day in Oak Park and Chicago.
