Our members have been enjoying unforgettable outdoor outings with naturalist Susan.
Recent trips have taken participants to China Camp State Park and Samuel P. Taylor State Park. Participants say having this opportunity is truly a gift, and Susan’s knowledge and passion as a naturalist make each trip even more meaningful.
Today’s adventure included two incredible participants—ages 97 and 94! And we’re excited that our next outing will welcome a participant who uses a wheelchair, continuing our commitment to making these experiences accessible and inclusive for everyone.
Thank you to the Drew Murphy Foundation for making moments like these possible. 💙🌲

Champions Week is underway!
This week, elected officials from across Marin are joining Vivalon meal delivery routes to experience firsthand the impact of home-delivered nutrition services.
Yesterday, Congressman Jared Huffman spent time on a Meals on Wheels route, meeting recipients and seeing how nutritious meals, wellness checks, and human connection help older adults and people with disabilities remain healthy, independent, and connected to their community.
Over the last decade, demand for Vivalon’s home-delivered nutrition programs has grown significantly. Since 2016, the number of people served has increased by 55%, while meals delivered have increased by 69%.
Stay tuned throughout the week as more community leaders take part in Champions Week and learn why these services matter.

Such a great day at the first annual Rotary Epic Day of Service for Older Adults at Children's Island, Marin Center in San Rafael last Saturday, May 16.
We loved seeing so many neighbors stop by to connect with local resources, ask questions, and spend time in community.
Thanks to the Rotary Clubs of Marin County for bringing everyone together—and to everyone who came out to say hello to Vivalon and the many partners supporting older adults across Marin.
Here are a few moments from the day 💚
