Ahmed's Moving Express, Inc. in San Rafael, Calif. is the Wheaton Agent of the Month for November 2025.

Owner Ahmed Issa got his start in the moving and storage business in 1988 while he was a college student studying English. He purchased his first truck in 1997 and incorporated Ahmed's Moving Express, Inc. in 2000. Ahmed's wife Sherry, currently the operations manager, got her start with the company in 2005, and they became a Wheaton agent in 2010.

Ahmed and Sherry's favorite thing about the industry is that every day is different. Their team enjoys helping their customers by simplifying the moving process and making it less stressful. When speaking of their team, Sherry said: "The secret sauce is the longevity of our staff and their unwavering hard work. Our team has grown to 29 people, several of whom have been with us for more than 15 years. We have become a big family that looks after one another. Our team is very customer-service oriented, and we approach our jobs with kindness and listen to our customers' needs."

Ahmed's is active in their community, donating to local schools, community health clinics, and food banks. They work with non-profit agencies by donating furniture and setting up housing to help homeless people get a fresh start.

Ahmed recollects the most interesting move his team has done is when they moved their county sheriff's department offices and their evidence warehouse. They caravanned with five trucks and had a police es**rt that stopped traffic at all intersections.

"It was a big WOW getting the Agent of the Month notification," Ahmed said. "We are completely honored to be recognized for our efforts."

Ahmed’s Moving Express, an interstate agent of Wheaton World Wide Moving, has succeeded in reaching an important milestone in the local moving company’s history. As of 2010, Ahmed’s Moving Express has been part of the Wheaton network for 15 years.
