Fateful Awakening

This evening I was doing a tarot spread for myselff I noticed with the themes of the collective that seem to be coming up in both the stars and those around me, the result was very fitting. I did a short write up for each card on Canva to put in a carousel, but the technological challenges that come with Mercury Retrograde deleted them... So let's try again differently.

The main theme going on here is taking ferocious inspired action. DO THAT DANG THING!

The 2 of Wands jumped out at me like, "What are you waiting for?" Right now is a time for swift change for all of us. Change is coming in quickly, which may not be comfortable. Is there something you have been waiting to act upon? Are you only holding onto one option and neglecting any other opportunities that may arise or have already been offered to you? If you look at the card, he's holding onto one wand, while the other is right behind him. IT'S LITERALLLY RIGHT THERE!!

The Knight of Swords and the 8 of Wands are really going hand in hand here. Once again, quick change, inspired action. The universe is telling us to follow our dreams because it's our birthright. Do the scary thing that's the next step to getting what you desire. And do it NOW! Your manifestations are coming it, but only if you do the work to ensure it happens. 

The 10 of Cups was a great last pull. It really wrapped the whole thing together. And I normally don't do 4 card pulls, I usually favor 3. The 10 of cups is showing the celebration of the fruits of our labor. The love and community that come as a result of following our hearts. The relationships and fruition are the reward. But we can only get here if we DO THE DANG THING!!

So what is it you've been dreaming of? What is one thing you can do today to bring you closer? I believe in you. And I think you should also believe in you. With love 💜✨

It’s been 2 months since the Love Notes 2.0 Author Reading Event at the Marin Civic Center Library 🩵

This book is the gift that keeps on giving! Having been in and out of writer’s block for about a decade, this chapter flowed through me.

Cynthia challenged me to capture my feelings on growing up with technology and the internet and I have received so many thoughtful responses. Many readers are those that didn’t get to grow up the way I did. The internet was introduced to them in adulthood and they didn’t know how the younger generation felt about being connected all the time.

My writing journey is definitely not over. Looking forward to the new stories that flow through me and the wonderful chapters of the next Love Notes 3.0! 📝

Shedding Layers

Not everything changing in your life is a crisis.
Sometimes it’s simply you outgrowing a version of yourself that once kept you safe.
