Freedom In Tow
Family of five living full time in an RV. Follow our journey as we live tiny and travel the US.
Hey friends, we haven't been posting much here lately. Not a lot going on, other than working on H**p Daddy's CBD - we're also hooking up the rig and heading to Colorado in May! We are so excited!

We made it!!! Safely arrived in Denton on Saturday. Although we are having some truck issue now. 🙄
+++
Denton is Caleb’s hometown and where we both went to College. We are super excited to be here and visit friends.
+++
Denton is a super unique college town, I like to call it “mini Austin” but with less traffic. It has actually grown A LOT since I left 8 years ago. It’s so strange coming back and seeing all the changes.

It’s moving day!!! Today we head up to Denton. Caleb’s hometown and where we both went to college.

The RV will be repaired and ready to pickup shortly. We’re enjoying some outside time before being stuck in the truck for 5 hours.

Well. This just happened. When the RV was in the shop for the flood we also had them replace the breaks....two miles down the road our tires FLEW OFF!!!!
+
We’re trying to stay positive. It is hard though since we had to wait 4 days for the repairs.
+
The shop is going to take care of everything though. It’s mainly just a huge inconvenience.

These guys are slowly becoming best of friends. They occasionally get under each other’s skin, but at the end of the day they are great friends.
🚲
Nathan recently started riding the scoot bike, but has been pushing it around for months.
🚲
How old were you when you first learned to ride a bike?

Bike gang!!! These guys get at each other on occasion, but at the end of they day, they are great friends.
🚲
Nathan has been pushing the balance bike around for months, but this week he was finally able to straddle the bike and have his feet touch the ground.
How old were you when you first rode a bike? How old were your kids?
Nathan and Josh are having a blast riding around together.

We’re heading out early this morning for an RV repair....just before Thanksgiving our toilet had water trickling into the bowl ALL NIGHT long.
😮
It flooded our insulated sub-floor area. So we have to drop the underbelly and have all the insulation replaced.
+
+
Bright side is, we get to have some other issues addressed as well...words from the wise...buy used RV’s. New ones have almost as many problems as used ones. Advantage of used is most of these issues have been caught and fixed.
+
After that we’ll be back in this park for a few days before heading to Denton to visit friends.

Today, Abby and I hit the trails of San Marcos for some father daughter time since they boys are both sick.
🍁
She set out on our adventure hoping to find people to help. She insisted on carrying a first aid kit, food, and water so we could help anybody that might need it....she has such a sweet heart under her sometimes tough exterior. @ San Marcos, Texas

Thought I would try a black and white with this one.....
🏔
These two (Josh and Abby) are best friends. They love playing together, but as with any kid, they have their moments. I love seeing them adventure together.
😍
We are currently gearing up for travel again. Upcoming stops include: Denton, TX, East Texas, Wichita Mountains, West Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and California.
•
We are also about to convert our RV toilet to a composting toilet, so we can do more
😜
Call us crazy, but we love being more remote, it brings us closer together and also saves us a LOT of money I’m camping fees and eating out.....can’t wait for these big adventures.

Violet is adapting quite well to the RV life. She’s an indoor/outdoor cat, and is frisky as all get out....we actually give her to calm her down at night.
•
She hasn’t traveled with us yet, but we travel again on Dec. 1, so that will be her first taste of road life.
•
We’ve got excited things in the works for our 2019 travels. Can’t wait to start sharing them.

Today we celebrate 8 years of marriage! Truthfully we BOTH forgot amidst running two businesses and raising three kids!! But thanks to the miracle of Facebook we were reminded. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Our recent trip to the San Antonio Aquarium was quite fun. The birds at the end were by far our favorite.
🐦
Kristy would have had a panic attack if she came....she hates birds. But the kids and I enjoyed feeding them by hand and have then land on our backs, shoulders, and heads.
