Texas Americana Rock Band Launches First Official Radio Campaign Through SMG Academy Artist Development Program

TEXAS — Uncle Brent & the NoStone are officially stepping into the radio spotlight with the release of their debut radio single, “Forget U,” impacting Texas Alt Country and National Americana radio stations on June 7, 2026.

Blending Americana storytelling, Red Dirt attitude, Southern rock energy, and Texas-sized personality, “Forget U” delivers a memorable anthem built for dancehalls, backroads, festivals, and listeners who appreciate authentic independent music. The track combines a powerful sing-along chorus, driving instrumentation, and a healthy dose of humor, creating a song that feels equally at home on a Texas highway as it does blasting from a live music venue.

Produced by AJ Vallejo at VMG Studios and Gruene Studios, “Forget U” showcases the band’s ability to balance musical craftsmanship with genuine Texas character.

While many artists focus solely on chart positions and industry accolades, Uncle Brent & the NoStone have a different goal.

“Our mission has never been about chasing numbers,” says the band. “We simply want to introduce our music to new audiences, build relationships with listeners, and continue growing as artists. Every person who discovers our music is a victory.”
