Well friends, it’s been a busy, beautiful year and my first one as a father. I’ve also been working with a badass crew of writers, editors, and media pros at . Needless to say, river tripping has taken a backseat…

Which is why I’m moving on from Spring-Fed Adventures. I’m handing over the reins to a couple of new friends: Colin Palmer () and Ryan Barnett (). Both are military veterans and search-and-rescue professionals. They also teach bushcraft, scuba diving, and know their way around the spring-fed rivers of Texas. You’re in good hands with these two taking over.

Had a great day fishing the South Llano with last weekend. We didn’t land any lunkers, but we caught a whole lotta Guadalupe bass and enjoyed a beautiful day on the river. Thanks for coming out, Pat. Looking forward to fishing with you again soon!

Gone fishin’…back Sept. 4

Just couldn't pass up the opportunity to get back to the Bush and guide some multi-day wilderness float trips for . I will be up in Alaska until the weekend of Sept. 4...at which point we will resume running trips here in Central Texas.
