A few weeks ago the ASDA board had its annual retreat! We had a presentation from our president about what ASDA is about on a school, regional, and national level. We also heard from our CFO and from the Culture and Community Engagement Committee. We had a fun time bonding and making handshakes and we went go cart racing!

This past weekend our ASDA leaders attended Annual Session in Minneapolis, MN to review and vote on Resolutions to ASDA’s bylaws and to elect our 2026-2027 National Executive Council! Our chapter was awarded ASDA’s Gold Crown Award for Advocacy due to our advocacy efforts lead by Sonia Ramirez! Finally, we were able to celebrate our very own District 11 Trustee Summer Furrer after her long year of hard work! District 11 Cabinet applications will open soon, so keep an eye out on your email to get involved at the district level!

Last week we were able to team up with to donate oral hygiene supplies to LA’s Dream Center Foundation those affected by the fires. Special thanks to D1 for transporting them!

What is UP student body?! We have a non-perishable food drive in the spirit of thanksGIVING 🦃 🌽 Support our asda chapter through giving of canned goods. Those who donate the most will participate in a raffle for a giveaway!
