Had a blast on this beautiful blue sky day in May, with the crew in Taylorsville, adding 50 trees to the Intermountain Health Clinic! These trees will provide much needed shade, a significant buffer from the highway noise and will help clear the air around the clinic. We are so so grateful for trees, and the awesome volunteers who help plant them 🫶🌳❤️

60 more trees were added to Murray Park on Arbor Day (always the last Friday in April)! We were delighted to be planting with and their Ivory Green Initiative to bring more trees to the communities that enjoy this beautiful public space! Thank you thank you to all the enthusiastic volunteers who joined us! What great energy, what a great day!

TreeUtah doesn’t just plant trees! We’re leaders in educational stewardship and participate in EcoFests, conferences, we visit schools and college campuses! In April, we participated in SpringFest, in West Valley City, where our Educational Coordinator Donda, brought the best activity for families and little ones! So happy to be part of our community in so many ways ❤️🌻

Make sure to visit us at the Utah Arts Festival this June! We will be bringing River Plant Crafts for the festival’s 50th anniversary, celebrating art and river plants such as willow and dogwood in the Art Yard! Participants will get to bend, twist, tie, and shape creative designs using the flexibility of classic riparian plants that are not only fun to work with, but also provide vast ecosystem services to the rivers of Utah. 🦦🎋🦫

If you see extremely determined and happy people walking around with shovels and pickaxes at Constitution Park in Fairpark, don’t be alarmed! It’s all of our awesome volunteers adding trees to one of the west side’s most recreationally used parks!

It’s always a wonderful time planting at the Tracy Aviary Nature Center at Pia Okwai ! Thank you to all the volunteers that came out to join us in April! With your help we planted trees and more pollinator plants that will benefit the nature center visitors and creatures for years to come! And we’d also love to highlight .foundation who joined our planting party! What a wonderful and gorgeously moody day that was. Truly truly. 💚🌳
