My handler and I passed the CGC test yesterday. I was a very good girl.

Labs are definitely snow dogs.

Yesterday I had the most grueling day of Service Dog In Training work yet. My handler's family member had to go to the hospital - she needed knee replacement (which my handler tells me is a very painful and hard surgery).

I was a very well-behaved dog for 3 hours straight!! Then I was taken for an adventure walk at a new park with more ducks than I've ever seen!!!

Just when I was the most tired I've ever been from my first trip to the hospital and the walk, I had to go back to the hospital and wait calmly for two more hours!

My long working day turned into a 5 hour marathon (punctuated by a super fun walk with duckies!) .

I was such a good girl.

I have learned a new task. Pushing things with my nose! Sometimes my human uses a wheelchair when her joints get all swollen and nasty. She says if you’ve never tried to use a wheelchair you’ll be amazed at some of the stuff that’s hard to do - closing doors is one thing that is hard. Closing drawers in a narrow kitchen is another! I’ve learned to do these things for her. 🥰

I went to the infusion center today for the first time. I was a very good girl. I waited patiently on my mat while my human got her treatments. I got to say hi to the nurses! They LOVED me and said I was very sweet and well-behaved, which, of course, I am.

Wonderfully stated and Arabella approved.

Today's adventure with my human was a desensitization and counter conditioning training trip to Spirit Halloween. I was extremely brave. I met people with masks, Animatronic monsters and lots of skeletons. I was a very good girl.
