Just found my favorite picture of Betty. I saw it and thought to myself “Does she have cornrows?!?” But Pam says they are bobby pins and she is probably right. Iconic, nonetheless. The joys of being the family archivist.

Just finished scanning all my grandparents photos. Thought I would share a few from their wedding.

My parents recently celebrated their 45 anniversary. They’ve spent 38 of them in this house. Still going strong.

This floor has been a long time coming.

Me with the money I have to pay my second cousin once removed for laying terrazzo in my granny’s house that I bought from my mother, aunt and uncles. Meanwhile, my brother and sister in law should buy our grandfather’s house on my dad’s side and raise my nephews there. I feel the need to share all this because my aunt left two bottles of wine in the fridge in the same grandfather’s house that I drank while me, my father, uncle and cousin cleaned out the sheds in the back yard.
