Trinity at Home Community Outreach Coordinator Teresa Dakins represented Lutheran Services Carolinas at the Stronger Together: Sessions on Caregiving and Caregiver Support held at the Rowan County Events Center on Tuesday.

Teresa shared information about Trinity at Home and served on a panel during the event, which was presented by Carolina Caring, Rowan County Department of Social Services, and Centralina Area Agency on Aging.

Trinity at Home was proud to honor Judy's retirement, a devoted caregiver who has given seven years of service and affectionately holds the title of 'Mama Bear.' At 82 years old, Judy is not only our oldest caregiver but also an inspiration to us all, and we're grateful she can now focus on her family and personal interests.

Happy Mother’s Day to all of all wonderful caregivers and clients!

Cathey, a caregiver, and her client, Ms. Rosalie, enjoyed a profoundly enriching experience at Rowan Public Library, where Salisbury native author Kristy Woodson Harvey engaged the audience with her motivational new book, Summer State of Mind, and were further delighted by the attendance of Teresa and several distinguished Trinity Oaks residents.

Always a great night helping to host the annual Rowan Chamber Campaign Kick-Off event.

This week, Trinity at Home teammates underwent comprehensive annual training in our skills lab, successfully expanding our knowledge base and skill set.

We took a field trip today to celebrate a milestone birthday of one of our long-term clients, Ms. Gloria, on her 90th birthday. Happy Birthday, Gloria; here's to many more years of celebrations and thank you for letting us be a part of it.
