Dove Pointe

Each month we work in partnership with Avery Hall Insurance to bake cupcakes for our individuals that have a birthday that month. Avery Hall sends over volunteers to bake and decorate cupcake then the next day they send more volunteers over to handout and sing for the each individual that has a birthday that particular month. We try to individualize passing cupcakes and singing happy birthday to each individual. Our individuals love it!! Thanks Avery Hall for all that you do for Dove Pointe.

The Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce hosted the “Taste of the Town” event at Dove Pointe’s beautiful banquet room on Thursday night Jun 4th. Guests enjoyed an evening filled with great food, wine, and drinks, making for a fun and memorable experience for all who attended. Dove Pointe extends its sincere congratulations to all of the talented chefs who participated and especially to those who were recognized as winners. It was truly a wonderful evening celebrating community, cuisine, and creativity. Dove Pointe looks forward to next year’s event.

This past Friday, individuals and staff at Dove Pointe were excited to welcome Heather Brooke, along with our good friend Grace Murdock and the wonderful kindSBY volunteers.

Their visits always bring so much joy to everyone. As you can see, the stuffed animals they brought were a big hit!

As always, thank you for your incredible acts of kindness—we truly appreciate all that you do. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
