Higgins Automotive is an independant, locally owned Subaru repair shop that has been in operation for over thirty years.
All major and minor repairs using mostly OEM parts to maintain vehicle integrity and service life. We have thousands of loyal customers from all over the South-East United States. Here we work exclusively on Subarus, and after twenty years of doing so we have accumulated many parts. Both new and used for Subarus ranging from 1975 to 2005.

THIS is why we remove every oil pump while doing a timing belt job!
Note the O-ring on the left that gets pushed in, creating oil leak behind the oil pump. Catching this likely saved this customer from replacing an engine soon. 208,000 miles, ready for another 105,000!

2001 Subaru Forester 278,000 miles getting a drivetrain refresh. We replaced the engine and transmission with factory reman units, replaced the exhaust system, plus lots of chassis work to bring this vehicle back to as factory fresh as you can get. Ready for another 278,000!

SUBARU H6 OWNER'S!!!
It has come to our attention that we are the only shop working on Subaru H6 engines/cars. Gentleman from Columbia, SC brought us his H6 for repair after talking to every "Subaru" shop he could find in NC and SC and getting refused service.
