After 23 years, Pete and Carolyn have retired from breeding Miniature Donkeys but retain pets as well as their love for these wonderful animals.
After 23 years, Pete and Carolyn retired from breeding Miniature Donkeys after their move from Texas to North Carolina in July of 2016. Prior to that, Quarter Moon Ranch sold registered Miniature Donkeys to individuals all over the world who bred and showed Quarter Moon Ranch progeny. I just now got around to posting photos of Quarter Moon Bowtie who was born on Christmas Eve. I've got to take a video of this boy. He's by far one of the sweetest little donkeys we've had. Dad is QM Laptop (29 1/2" black) and mom is QM Pin Up Girl (30 1/2" black). Love this boy.

This is Annabelle, a donkey we sold to an owner who had a mammoth named Friday. The 2 became buddies and Annabelle liked to stay under Friday's stomach. Donkeys are great!

Dan and Candy Caveness take QM Lady Luck(Lady) and QM Pick Me (Mimi) to Mother's Day Out at their church. The kids loved them. It's so neat seeing people share their donkeys with children and adults too.
