Building Pathways, Not Just Agreements. 🎓 ✨

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) has partnered with the Bahamas Baptist University College (BBUC) to create meaningful academic pathways for students.

Signed earlier this semester by UMES Provost Dr. Rondall E. Allen and BBUC President Dr. Theresa Adderley-Smith, the Memorandum of Understanding allows students to begin their undergraduate studies in The Bahamas and seamlessly transfer to UMES to complete their degrees.

The agreement also introduces emerging pre-pharmacy pathways and brings select UMES courses directly to the BBUC campus. 🌍🎓

Black history isn’t behind us. It’s in our classrooms, our labs, our studios, our research, and our ideas.

For generations, Howard has been a place where history doesn’t just happen, it’s made every day through scholarship, creativity, and impact that reaches far beyond the Yard.

To our students, faculty, and all who engage with this community, you’re part of it.

Welcome to Black History Month at Howard. 🦬

History Then. History Now.
