Gift #9 is Anticipation
Luke 1:38 says, “And Mary said, “I am the Lord's servant! Let it happen as you have said.” And the angel left her.” CEVDCI‬‬

Remember as a kid how excited you were to open your gifts. You didn't even know what you were getting, however, you were already over the moon. It felt like Christmas day would never come. You were dotting your I's and crossing ALL of your T's. You were in a state of anticipation.

On yesterday, we discovered from the angel Gabriel that favor ain't fair. Mary was reminded that her cousin Elizabeth was soon to deliver at an old age. After getting such a response, I can imagine Mary began to think about the possibility of her future situation. Her response to Gabriel speaks volumes. Even though she didn't really know what to expect, she anticipated what was to come. The pure joy in knowing that something big is going to happen, the preparation, the waiting is all apart of the great gift!

Mary's response shows us humility, promptness and faith. Quite honestly, so did you as a child. Let's remember this gift of faith during this and any season of anticipation.

Gift #10 is "The Impossible Made Possible"
Luke 1:37 says, “Nothing is impossible for God.”‬ ‭CEB‬‬

Yesterday we discussed the angel Gabriel paying Mary (who remember, was a virgin 👀) a visit to inform her of her upcoming future... A BABY 😳. How is that possible when she's never been with a man? Joseph is only her fiancée at this point 🤔.

Gabriel gave her an elaborate explanation, however, the most simplest answer that he gave was his final point... NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD‼️ That's it, That's all.

Remember this gift of "The Impossible Made Possible" when you feel yourself looking at the so called "impossible"!

With Christmas just a few days away, let's remember a few priceless gifts of the Christmas season.

Gift #11 is FAVOR
Luke 1:28 says, “And coming to her, the angel said, “Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you.”‬ ‭AMP‬‬

We all know the story of Mary and Joseph. To paraphrase, Gabriel, an angel of the Lord, delivered a message to the u***d Mary. The message was simple but great! She would conceive a child with her fiancée Joseph. During this time having a baby out of wedlock was a NO NO. On top of that, she was a virgin. So, I can imagine her thoughts being why me. A lot of times we are put in situations that we don't quite understand and we ask ourselves and God why. The answer that I have found to best fit that question is FAVOR JUST AIN'T FAIR 🤷🏾‍♀️ We can sit and wonder why we are in it or we can thank God for what's going to come out of it. God put you in it because He's already equipped you with the FAVOR needed to get the glory out of it. Mary could have easily been in deep for having a child with a man that wasn't her husband but the baby (or favor) was far to great! God could have also chosen someone else. However, He chose who he chose 🤷🏾‍♀️! And there's nothing you did or can do for it.

Remember this gift of FAVOR when you want to ask why and just know that FAVOR AINT FAIR!
