Reflections on Good Friday from Isaiah 53, the day when Good ultimately triumphed over evil. Our sinless savior freely laid down his life and died on the cross to pay the price for our sins, so that we can be reconciled to God.

Urgent Prayer Requests for DEFEND & RESCUE – 1 Kings 9:3

1 – We are calling on everyone to storm the gates of heaven to plead for the protection of LADS – the legal team of DEFEND & RESCUE. After the rescue of three slave families this week in court, the slave owner issued a death threat against our legal team.

2 – Please pray that God will meet the needs of LADS as they continue to provide free legal, material, and spiritual support services to poor and persecuted Christians in Pakistan.

3 - Please also ask God to sell all 90 copies of Pastor Bill Warren’s book, JAM, this Sunday. All proceeds from this sale will go directly toward DEFEND & RESCUE.

How can I repay the Lord for all the good that He has done for me? - Psalm 116:12

We stand in awe of the Lord who brings about justice for Pakistani Christians who face persecution and false accusations because of their faith.

For he will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no one to help. He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death. He will rescue them from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in his sight. - Psalm 72:12-14

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” The Lord Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. - Psalm 46: 10-11

Today we give thanks for the work God is doing through you, our ministry partners, and LADS (our legal team in Pakistan). Together, we are bringing about justice for poor and persecuted Pakistani Christians and providing material support, like a sewing machine or small vegetable cart. These resources allow them to establish small businesses, so that their families may prosper.

You hear, O Lord, the desires of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed, in order that man, who is of the earth, may terrify no more. - Psalm 10:17-18

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy. Proverbs 31:8-9
