Championship Series Race 3 and Double Header 4 & 5 Recap 🏁

Josh got back in the seat at NCQMA for Race 3! We’ve been testing both our Honda and 160 program trying to chase more speed. We found a little bit, but still not enough. Huge thanks to Dale, Keith, and Steve for taking the time to help dad look over the cars and help find the issue! Josh hit the track again and immediately found a difference, finishing each race with more confidence in the Honda class. He transferred through both lowers in the Honda class!

Unfortunately, Josh’s final 160 race ended before it even really started after getting caught up in damage that kept him from completing the first lap. To say he was disappointed would be an understatement.

Gavin also didn’t have the weekend we hoped for during Race 3. The 160 is still very new to GavMan, and things just didn’t go our way. After a tough crash, we had to put in some body repair work, and mom and dad honestly weren’t sure we’d even have him ready for the doubleheader. But Gavin climbed right back in the seat and raced his Honda! He was looking really strong on the track until a rookie mistake jumping the line cost him several positions. Even with the setback, we’re hopeful and excited to keep the momentum moving in a positive direction!

No matter what, we keep pushing forward. ❤️

We sure missed our crew chief these past couple weekends, but even miles away, he always finds a way to support the team and be there for us!

So proud of Gavin’s determination in his dirt car! This boy has loved every lap he’s turned at Millbridge Speedway, and it showed by bringing himself to victory lane for the very first time at the last Tuesday night race!

He couldn’t have done it without all the support from Matthew Linker with the great setups and coaching. We are beyond thankful for everyone helping GavMan grow and gain confidence every time he hits the track! 🏁🏆
