In case you didn't get the email or the pdf didn't work! ✊️
Friends,
We hope this email finds you well. CKA wants to make sure our community is aware of developments coming out of Ohio and has access to important resources!
Last Thursday as we began to stream the people's party live in NYC, federal agents raided The Ohio Organizing Collaborative, a major voter registration and civic engagement organization. Organizers, volunteers, and community leaders across the United States have been affected. Regardless of where you stand politically, every person should be concerned when civic participation and community organizing come under threat.
This isn't just in Ohio. It's happened in Arizona, California, Georgia.
An attack on organizers anywhere is a warning to organizers everywhere.
The attached information includes:
• A summary of what is happening in Ohio
• Know Your Rights resources if law enforcement comes to your door
• Safety and legal trainings for organizers and nonprofits
• Opportunities to support voting rights efforts and community defense work
• Ways to stay informed and connected
We encourage everyone to take a few minutes to review these materials. Even if you never expect to need them, knowing your rights and understanding how to respond in uncertain situations is one of the best ways to protect yourself, your family, and your community.
CKA believes that strong communities are built by ordinary people showing up for one another.
We are headed to D.C. again in July with Protect Democracy. We wanted to take a minute to say thank you for all of your support the last year and a half. Our families have sacrificed, our community continues to organize and we and thankful for every contribution you've made.
Stay informed. Stay safe.
Please see the attached pdf or follow the link below.
In solidarity.

Subject: : After last night’s call — here’s what you do now
Thank you for showing up to last night’s national emergency call on voting rights.
Just to recap, here’s what’s happening in Ohio.
Last week, the Trump administration sent over 100 FBI agents to raid the Ohio Organizing Collaborative, one of the most effective voter registration programs in the country, and showed up at the homes of staff, volunteers, and community leaders across the state. This is a direct attack on our right to vote, our right to organize, and our power to determine our own future.
The Ohio Democracy Defense Coalition has launched — an online hub with resources and ways to plug in, starting with the Freedom Summer Kickoff on June 18. Below are a few ways to get involved.
Take Action:
Sign on in solidarity → Visit HandsOffOhio.org to add your organization to the coalition letter.
Rally on June 18 in Cleveland, OH → Stand with organizers and demand the right to vote. Register here. If you can’t join in person on Thursday, post in solidarity on your own social media! Toolkit here.
Get your people trained up!
For nonprofit organizations: Get trained TODAY at 4 pm ET → Nonprofits Together, The Leadership Conference, and the Brennan Center are hosting a training on responding to raids, door knocks, and subpoenas. Register here.

SALINA PROTEST!!!! Don’t forget your weekly protest and if you’re in Salina, we’ll be at the corner of 9th and Magnolia, park on the frontage road at the Dillons, from 5pm-7pm, this is the last 5-7pm one, we’ll be switching to 3-5 next week. I hope to see you there.
All this talk about Adam Hamilton but I don’t hear anyone rooting for Anne Parelkar/ Anne for Kansas when she has been outspoken, raw, real, and traveling all over the state for over a year to meet with real people with real concerns in Kansas. Don’t throw a vote away on an indecisive democrat light copy and paste politician. Give your vote to someone who will truly fight for Kansans when she’s been here doing the work this entire time as he put in his bid at the last second. Everyone deserves a fair shot of course, but she has more than proven herself worthy and trusting for the job. 👏🏻👏🏻

Please call your senator, I was able to find someone at Moran’s Olathe office picked up, and I said I wanted a call back after I told him about trumps unhinged demented, war crime ridden post. Also I want him reminded he works for US! 913-393-0711 let’s start flooding that line.
