After Spring Break, our 3rd-5th grade students will put on their superhero capes and show off their amazing powers during state testing! 💥 From super reading strength to math problem-solving powers, they’ve been training all year for this.

Our 5th graders shared test taking tips at our testing assembly yesterday and we have been decorating for students when they walk back in to our building March 23! Special thanks to the very creative Ms. Ashley Morales for designing and decorating all the 3rd-5th grade doors with encouraging messages!

Families can help our heroes by making sure they get plenty of sleep, eat a good breakfast, and arrive at school ready to show their Testing Super Powers!

Check out Mrs. Maring's 2nd grade Intervention Group participating in a Poetry Cafe this week! Students have been working with poetry and got to perform for each other! What a fun idea!

Reminder:

Our 5th graders had a great time at Match Madness today! They explored several local non profits, learned about the important work they do, and then decided which organization they would support with their donation!

We are so proud to be a part of a community that gives our students this awesome opportunity!!

4th grade MLR classes had Salina Central FFA students lead stations to teach them about Nutrition and the importance of our agriculture community. Thank you FFA!!!

Today we welcomed the NED show to MLR where we learned all about NED- Never giving up, Encouraging others, and Doing our best!! Remember we will have yo-yos for sale after school today and tomorrow!! (3:40-4:00)

Kindergarten classes have been working on The Little Red Hen Readers Theater all week!
We have loved getting to hear them reading!!!!
