Salem area children need your help...Help support over 180 underprivileged elementary school children by sponsoring a child for $ 40 for the 2013/14 school year!
180 underprivileged elementary school children in Salem and
west Roanoke County enjoy nutritious meals every weekday at
school. That’s good news for these children, Monday through
Friday. But what happens on Saturday and Sunday when
many may have very little to eat?
That’s where our Area Churches Together can make a difference
through the ACT PACKS program. For only $1.00 per
weekend, ACT PACKS will provide a pack of nutritional food to
each identified child to see them through their weekend at
home. $40.00 will see them through the entire school year!
Even better, during August and September, all funds received
will be matched by the Charity Cheerleader program sponsored
by Q99 Radio and the Salem VA Medical Center Credit
Union and Thrivent Financial "Care Abounds in the Communities."
Please double your impact with a gift soon!
Make your tax deductible gift of $40.00, or in any amount, through
your congregation or by sending your check to:
