Cherriots is eyeing a 280% revenue increase, including a big new payroll tax, to fund service expansions.

Before and after broker graffiti abatement services.
While under contract on this Corvallis retail listing, the buyer (who’s in the neighborhood) noticed that the building was tagged. Rightfully, the buyer asked the seller to have the graffiti removed.
The catch is that the sellers in California, and not well networked in the market. I am, and began searching for vendors to abate this. The timelines offered didn’t meet my expectations, so I rolled up my sleeves and took care of it.
Needless to say, my seller was stoked and so is the buyer. An ounce of prevention > a pound of cure.

🚨 BUSINESS OWNERS, PAY ATTENTION 🚨
Here’s how it usually goes:
A local agency circulates a survey with a predetermined outcome in mind. A small group of like-minded respondents—an echo chamber—submits feedback. Then, a board uses that limited input to justify a new tax, fee, or mandate.
Right now, Cherriots has TWO surveys in circulation. If these lead to policy changes, their board has the unilateral authority to impose a tax specifically on businesses. No vote. No public hearing. Just a new cost on your bottom line.
👉 Let’s not let the echo chamber speak for all of us.
Take a few minutes to respond and make your voice heard. Links to both surveys are in the comments. The broader the participation, the harder it is to justify action based on a narrow view.
Newer construction that’s turnkey for a restaurant operator. This layout maximizes profitability of every square foot.

A little over a year ago, I met Frances and Keith over a cup of coffee. Their clinic, NeuStart Psychiatry Salem, was helping a lot of people and needed a new home.
When you make a big move of your business, it gets people out of their routine. Patients, clients, the team. We want to make sure that it's something that's a long term solution.
The search took over a year. We toured nearly a dozen locations, viewed many more than that. Then 2110 Mission St in Salem became available, the building that Oregon Association of REALTORS® calls home.
This was about a month ago. I stopped by to see Keith, Frances, and their new family addition Mr. Doodles. This office really hits the mark for them, and I'm thankful we waited for the right location.
NeuStart Psychiatry was created from the need to provide professional mental health by using cutting edge technologies and research in combination with comprehensive psychiatry services in a comfortable, spa-like setting to disrupt the paradigm of the monotonous and sterile field of psychiatry.
The landlord was represented by my teammate, George Grabenhorst of SVN Commercial Advisors, LLC.
Frances, Keith, Mr. Doodles and the team at NeuStart: Thank you for the opportunity to work with you.
Many thanks to Chris and the team at 3D/RE for this super rad video!
