We are deeply saddened by the loss of our former Voices Against Injustice co-chair, Patricia Fae Ho, who passed away earlier this fall. Patricia was a remarkable, warm, and gentle soul who made an indelible impact on our organization during her time on the board. For over three decades, Patricia dedicated herself to nonprofit leadership, serving in key roles with organizations like the American Association of University Women (AAUW), where she was president and board chair, and as the founding president of the Essex County Commission on the Status of Women. Her leadership roles also extended to Wellspring House in Gloucester, the House of Seven Gables Settlement Association, Health Quarters, Inc. and board service including the Peabody Essex Museum, United Way of the North Shore, and Healing Abuse Working for Change. In addition, she was the president and CEO of a family foundation created in 2023.
Patricia's impact was felt professionally. She was a gifted education specialist and teacher trainer who implemented enrichment programs in New York schools. She also worked, traveled, and volunteered worldwide, including in England, China, Africa, and more. Our hearts are with her family, friends, and all who were touched by her legacy.

Today, we remember Bridget Bishop, the first person executed for Witchcraft during the Salem Witch Trials in 1692. As we gather at the Salem Witch Trials Memorial, we reflect on the consequences of being silent and ignoring the voices speaking out against injustice.
Another thank you to Jennifer Emerson and History Alive/ Cry Innocent for planning the ceremony.
