The Oregon Friendly Driver program is a free, ODOT-sponsored, 90-minute training designed to help people drive more safely around people walking, biking, and rolling. The training covers Oregon traffic laws, common roadway infrastructure, defensive driving strategies, and common mistakes drivers make around vulnerable road users, along with practical ways to avoid them. The Numbers are in on Walk+Roll Day! Walk+Roll day was a huge success this year thanks to people like you organizing, getting the word out, and joining in on the fun! This year we had 139 schools participate in May Walk+Roll statewide, bringing the school year total to over 586 events hosted this school year!
