Ride 2 of our Revolutionary Rides traces the most famous midnight journey in American history. Start in the North End at the Old North Church, where two lanterns once signaled the alarm, then follow the Charles past the Esplanade into Cambridge through Kendall and Harvard Square, finishing along the Charlestown waterfront.

Ride through history. 🚲
We’re kicking off our Revolutionary Rides series right where it all began, the Freedom Trail. Start at Boston Common and roll north past the Old State House, Faneuil Hall, the Paul Revere House, and Old North Church, then cross into Charlestown to finish at the Bunker Hill Monument.
2.7 miles. About 24 minutes. A few centuries of Boston history rolling by. Grab your Bluebikes and follow the trail.
