Three Fates Yarns is a one-woman owned and operated business located in Salem, Oregon. I work in my basement. LinkTree! https://linktr.ee/threefatesyarns

I use light-fast and color-fast acid dyes because they are consistent and easy to work with.

I had an amazing concert experience this weekend - line friends, sound check, fan gifts, from the first moment until last touch, it was a weekend I’ll never forget, full of friendly generous people and amazing music.

I had a wonderful time this past weekend. I loved seeing all of your rainbow wear on Pride - appreciate you all especially who let me share stories of my father, whose last act in this world was to attend pride. Also enjoyed watching my lovely booth neighbor whip through nearly half of this rainbow 🌈 braid of 80/20 polwarth/silk (organic polwarth base). Check out that cool prep!

I’ve been working in phase two of my dyeing methods for a little while now and it’s really perfect for cream colored fiber based. What it’s ideal for is building combination spins. Hopefully I can spin a few swatches up this summer to show you, but in the mean time, here are some finer ideas.

I’m open at Fiber Fusion. Can I just say I’m so happy to come even just this one time? Turns out the conflicts that were preventing me from coming are real. But please visit me here today!!!

There is so much new fiber for you all. Some how I made my way through a good amount of the climate beneficial rambouillet along with some organic polwarth/silk and polwarth. I even replenished a small amount of merino yak and silk and there’s still a healthy amount of the organic sourced merino around. I’ll be setting up in Monroe for Fiber Fusion this afternoon. Come visit me tomorrow!!!!

Dad, we miss the f- out of you. You’d be 81 at the end of month. Another pride, another Father’s Day without you. Miss you too Fritz. (I know this isn’t exactly your music but you didn’t hate it on occasion either.)
