We are saddened by the passing of our friend, Bret Allen. As the superintendent of the Northern California/Nevada District, he served on our board of directors for 10 years and was an instrumental influence in GenFi Ministries' success. Bret was an exceptional leader and a valued friend; he will be deeply missed.

We're excited to announce Klayton Ko as the new chairman of the board for GenFi Ministries. With 30 years of pastoral experience, 12 years as superintendent of the Hawaii District of the Assemblies of God, and 12 years of service on our own board, Klayton is the perfect chairman for GenFi at this time in our ministry journey.

It was a record year for our ministry on many fronts in 2025, and we are eager to expand our services further in 2026. Klayton has the experience to help GenFi move into a new season of impact, and his leadership will be instrumental as we continue to serve our investors and churches at the highest level.

“He is not here; he has risen, just as he said.” — Matthew 28:6a

Today we celebrate the hope, victory, and promise that changed everything. The tomb is empty, and because of that, our hearts don’t have to be.

He is risen indeed.

Your presence was a blessing, and we are grateful for the connection and fellowship you brought.

Today, we said a bittersweet goodbye to the one and only Jill Russ Lorimor Keeton as she embarks on a well-earned retirement! If you've ever called our investment team, chances are you've had the pleasure of speaking with her. Jill worked at GenFi for 25 years, and her warmth, dedication, and big heart have left a lasting mark on all of us. We'll miss her love of pink, camo, and the OSU Beavers — but most of all, we'll miss her!

We were honored to welcome Rev. Jay Alfaro and his wife, Dr. Melissa Alfaro, from the Texas Louisiana Hispanic Network to our office this week.

It was a joy to spend time together, give them a tour, and introduce them to our team. We were especially grateful for the opportunity to hear from them during our staff meeting. Melissa shared a short devotional that encouraged and challenged our staff in meaningful ways.
