Went to Mavis Discount Tire for an alignment last month after seeing the inside of my tires start to wear out. They said they could not get my camber to align. I don't have a camber adjustment so I figured I would buy new shock Assemblies to bring it back up to stock and maybe help the camber.
Installed new struts Assemblies and camber bolts and tried to adjust it myself but I didn't get it so I made an appointment at Townfair Tire. On my way to the appointment , I hear noise. I was panicking. What was the noise? I drove slow to the shop and parked it. I told the guy at the counter that helped me that I went to a previous shop, told him I bought new parts and I think I forgot to tighten the lug nuts cause it making no noise. After dropping off the keys, I felt better that it was going to be fixed.

Nope.

I went to pick it up and he said that the tie rod on the passenger side was not torqued and was loose. It's on the paper in red writing. Also check both while at it.
Ok fine. I'll go home and check them. But on my way home I was greeted with the noise again.
Was it not the lug nuts? What is going on?
After my hazard lights on and driving slow for what felt like all day, I decided to pull over to check to see if the tie rods are the noise.
No!
What I found out was all my lug nuts on the passenger side had been so loose that I could untighten them all with my fingers.
Had to call for help.
Got a tire wrench and tightened them all up.

I would assume that talking about being unsafe with loose lug nuts that those would have been checked. I know it was my fault not to tighten them but was it my fault to drive off like that as well? My assumption that a tire shop would check that before handling over a car would be on the checklist. Idk. I just know that it's hard to find a shop that will just get me my alignment. Days taken off of work, money spent, the stress from having to fix things just for other problems to come up.
What shop can I go to and they will help me get the alignment I need and not push me out the door when there is an issue.

How can a tire shop misdiagnose a loose tie rod for a loose rim?

Idk. I'm just skeptical about going to shops for any work done when it turns out to be a waste of time and money.

Now I have wonky alignment and two tires that were good for another season that I have to not only replace, but replace with p**p tires every couple months because the alignment just ruins them.

Did a little "redecorating" today.
The bumper delete wasn't obviously the real answer.
Made "wings" I guess you could call them. Just cut enough of the bumper to look clean. Still going to cut some things to clean it up, and maybe add metal rings in the bumper to clean up the bare hole look. The old lights that were on the bumper had to go and left some holes behind. So I added some lights to fill the holes. Have to repaint the "wings" too but it's almost spring and that's when the paint fun happens.

On another note: a good tire shop is so hard to find these days. 2 shops later and still don't have a proper alignment.

On top of the new front suspension and new brake rotors, we did a bumper delete. The front bumper kept falling off and was held up by the setina bar and a couple self tappers.
Decided that the bumper less look was the way to go.
We can now ram snow piles without the bumper falling off.
This requires the deletion of the windshield washer fluid jug on one side and the air intake box thing on the other.
The air box doesn't do anything but tone the air intake noise down a bit so we don't need that and the washer box can be relocated after I get a new motor for it as it was broken on one side anyway. So I'm not worried about that. Other than that, wire tuck. Tucked all unnecessary wires away so nothing was showing.
Now we are here. Paint touch up in the spring, and new push bar lights are planned soon.
Also got ideas of some mesh and also need to do something with the license plate.

I have come to a realization,
Fighting the cold.
Complaining about the snow.
Staring angrily at 3 feet of white nonsense.
None of it makes winter go away.
So I remembered something I once heard a human say…
“If you can’t beat them up… join them.”
So here I am. Ice bath. Snowstorm. Unbothered.
Cold may freeze the streets… but it doesn’t freeze Decepticon determination.
Spring can show up whenever it’s ready. I’ll be out here adapting.

🚨 KOPY KAT UPDATE 🚨
Well… this Decepticon was NOT expecting that. 😳
The delivery vehicle actually showed up with the missing parts… and fast. I was fully prepared for another week of tracking-number betrayal. 📦⚡
Struts? ✅
Springs? ✅
Attitude? Still strong.
Now all we need is some warm weather so I can get back to dominating potholes and city streets like I was built to do. 🌤️🔧
Winter, your move.

Kopy Kat is NOT happy today 😤🤖
New suspension parts were supposed to arrive so he could get back to dominating the streets… but apparently they decided to take a vacation in shipping limbo.
Now it’s more waiting. More sag. More attitude.
Pray for patience. And tracking updates. 📦😂

STATUS UPDATE: 🧱😈
BREAKING NEWS:
The humans have constructed a LEGO version of me.
Yes. Miniature. Blocky. Still intimidating.
Naturally, I sent one to Lord Megatron with a simple request:
“Take a selfie with it.”
He complied.
Which means…
Megatron has now assembled me piece by piece.
Attached my arms.
Snapped on my legs.
Pressed my torso together.
And yes… even connected the lower rear structural components.
So I asked him:
“How does it feel knowing you’ve technically touched Kopy Kat… everywhere?”
His response:
“How does it feel to know you were created by Megatron?”

I have chosen to stop replying.
