It was a great weekend! We love these guys!

We’ve gotten several inquiries for turkey hunts after our post this weekend. We appreciate your interest, but we are completely booked for this season, and have a very long wait list for seasons to come.

This father son duo got it done this morning!

Saturday was our 2nd Annual Youth Hunt! We partnered with Texas Parks and Wild Life and Solana Ranch. We hosted 20 kids and a good time was had by all! Sponsors include Monteith Ranch, Solana Ranch, Tex Star Plumbing, GMT Investments, and Josh and Monique Koch. We’d also like to give a shout out to our many friends who volunteered their time to guide these kids and help out with all the other activities of the day. It takes a village to pull this off, and we appreciate your support.

Gettin’ it done this weekend at the ranch!

Full time ranch hand/hunting guide needed. Ideal candidate will have experience with ranch maintenance, including building and repairing fences, operating a tractor, maintaining deer blinds and feeders, establishing rapport with hunters, skinning and quartering game animals, working and gathering cattle, etc. salary based on experience. The evolution of our hunting lodge has come a long way in the past few years! We love all our return groups who have seen and experienced the upgrade with us!

A new tradition has emerged here on the ranch! We partnered with Texas Parks & Wildlife Foundation and had the First Annual Monteith Ranch Youth Hunt! We hosted 2 young ladies and 4 young men. We are so happy to say a great time was had by all! Each hunter was presented with a hunting bag full of goodies, a fishing pole, a couple ball caps, a Monteith Ranch T-Shirt, plus breakfast and dinner. A special thanks to our local Game Wardens and a few friends of the ranch who came and helped out. Belton Feed & Supply, TexStar Plumbing, GMT Investments, Steelhead Services LLC, Josh Koch and Monique Koch sponsored this event. We’ll add more pictures as they become available!
