Holy moly I’m exhausted. It’s a good kind of exhausted. Took Dustin and his boys out fishing today. We caught a bit of everything. Redfish, trout, flounder, sheepshead, black drum, sharks, and a bunch of stingray. One big ol stingray took one look at the boat and decided it wasn’t coming in. It took a run and snapped the rod. That’s always exciting 😀. It was a great day.

Alright, fixin to do the things. Hoping the weather holds. Wally is even here to help me get the boat ready.

Had a great day on the water today with the Miller family from Kentucky. Found a good amount of redfish, trout, black drum, and whiting. Kept a few of each so they could make dinner for their family. Even threw in a stingray and some sharks to round out the mix. Just a great day all around.

Here we go. Fixin to do the things.

Started with a peaceful morning at the Wharf. Cleaned the boat and got a couple tours in. I mostly took pics of boats that are doing the Great Loop, but there were also a lot of dolphins. It’s warming up and starting to feel like summer. Makes me happy.

Holy moly, I’m exhausted. The bite was rough and we had to work to find fish. But Connor and his wife are troopers and we found a good bag. A handful of over slot redfish, a few in slot, small trout and we tacked on some whiting and sharks to round out the day. It doesn’t suck 😀
