๐Ÿฅช Want an easy way to eat more fruits and veggies?

Just pile them on your sandwich. ๐Ÿฅช

Add tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, spinach, and peppers.

Or whatever you've got in the fridge.

And before you know it, you've added color, crunch, fiber, and extra nutrition to a meal you were already going to eat.

Look at you eating all healthy. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Small changes add up, fitfam. ๐Ÿ’›

Today we're celebrating a very special member of the BCC family,
Melissa Minnick Grattan! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’›

For more than 20 years, Melissa brought Boot Camp Challengeยฎ๏ธ to New York and built one of the most incredible fitfams ever!

She encouraged, motivated, and inspired hundreds of campers while helping them become stronger, healthier, and more confident.

And while she's officially retired from leading camps, she's still part of BCC as one of our Master Trainers, helping train and mentor new trainers across the country.

If you've ever worked out with Melissa, you know exactly why so many people love her. Her heart for people, passion for fitness, and commitment to helping others has left a lasting impact on our BCC family.

Melissa, thank you for all you've done and continue to do for BCC.

Please help us wish her a very Happy Birthday! ๐ŸŽ‚๐ŸŽˆ๐Ÿ’›

Love,
Your BCC Fitfam

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Happy 251st Birthday, Army! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

Before there was Boot Camp Challengeยฎ๏ธ, (BCC) there was Army PT.

The Army taught me about teamwork, accountability, leadership, discipline, and resilience.

Those lessons became the foundation of BCC when I launched my first camp nearly 25 years ago.

And while BCC started with lessons I learned in the Army, it grew because of the incredible trainers who carried those same values into their own communities. Thank you to every BCC trainer, past and present, who has helped build strength, confidence, and connection in the lives of others.

Since then, thousands of people have walked, run, lifted, laughed, sweated, and supported one another through BCC.

The workouts may look a little different these days, but the mission remains the same:

๐Ÿ’ช Build strength.
๐Ÿค Build community.
โค๏ธ Help people become the strongest version of themselves.

Today, I'm grateful for the experiences, lessons, and people who helped shape both my life and this company.

Happy Birthday, Army!

Hoo Aah!

๐Ÿ’› She came back.

More than a decade ago, she joined Boot Camp Challenge with a friend.

Life took her in different directions. Half marathons, other workout programs, and plenty of fitness adventures along the way.

But this year she realized something was missing.

Not another workout.
Not another fitness program.

A community.

A place where people know your name, celebrate your victories, encourage you through the hard days, and laugh with you through hill repeats and everything else life throws your way.

We were honored to welcome her back to our fitfam this year, and her words reminded us why we've been doing this for nearly 25 years.

Yes, we help people get stronger.
Yes, we help people improve their health.

But the relationships built here are what make Boot Camp Challenge so special.

Thank you for being part of our fitfam, Ash. We love you! ๐Ÿ’›

Yesterday was hill repeat day.

Not because hills are fun. ๐Ÿ˜

Not because anyone woke up hoping to run uphill a bunch of times.

But because doing hard things makes us stronger.

Every step up that hill builds strength, confidence, endurance, and grit.

And one day, when life hands you a hill that has nothing to do with fitness, you'll be glad you practiced.

So proud of this crew. ๐Ÿ’›

If you've been thinking about starting an exercise routine, here are 2 things to keep in mind:

๐Ÿ‘Ÿ Get a good pair of walking shoes.
They're one of the best investments you can make to help keep your feet, knees, hips, and back happy.

๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ Start slow. You don't need to exercise for an hour. Start with 5โ€“10 minutes a day and give your body time to adapt.

Remember, fitness isn't about doing everything perfectly. It's about taking the first step and then taking another one tomorrow.

And if you'd like a little guidance along the way, BCConDemand has workouts for strength, balance, mobility, walking, and more, all designed to help you move better and feel stronger.

๐Ÿ’› Try it free for 7 days: bccondemand.com
You've got this. And we've got you.

Love,
Your BCC FitFam

๐Ÿ… Here's how to make it!

๐Ÿ… One big, fat tomato
๐Ÿง€ A bit of cottage cheese
๐ŸŸก A titch of Dijon mustard
๐Ÿฆƒ Turkey or ham
๐Ÿฅ‘ 1/4 avocado
๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Banana peppers

That's it!

It's packed with protein, takes about 2 minutes to make, and tastes like summer on a plate.

If you're looking for a simple lunch idea that doesn't involve turning on the oven, give this one a try.

And if you make it, let me know what you think!

Love,
Your BCC FitFam ๐Ÿ’›

Some mornings just feel special. โœจ

A beautiful sunrise. A field full of strong humans. And one more workout in the books.

Thank you for showing up for yourselves and for each other. ๐Ÿ’›

You know what's not on most people's fitness goals list?

๐Ÿ‘‰ Getting up off the floor.

But maybe it should be.

Today our campers practiced one of the most functional movements we do: sitting down on the floor and standing back up again.

No fancy equipment. No complicated choreography. Just a skill that matters in real life.

Because fitness isn't only about how much you can lift or how fast you can run.

It's about being able to get down on the floor to play with the grandbabies. It's about having confidence if you take a tumble. It's about staying independent for as long as possible.

Is it challenging?

Yep.

Do people cheer when we put it in the workout?

Nope. ๐Ÿ˜‚

But we keep practicing because our future selves will thank us.

Love,
Your BCC fitfam ๐Ÿ’›

Who loves some asparagus?

We know this spring veggie is known for making p*e smell funny BUT it is also full of vitamins & fiber and it's LOW in calories.

One more thing, do any of you eat just the bottom of the asparagus and not the flowery top?

Okay, us neither. ๐Ÿคช
