Good morning everyone! Feeling generous this Sunday? Our babies could use a little extra warmth! As we add more fosters, we need a bigger supply of, well, supplies! 💛

If you’d like to help, we could really use these heating pads for our little ones. The burgundy ones are currently on sale through Amazon. The problem is that it will only let you buy 3 per account and we have tapped out all of ours so we're asking for your help! These are the specific ones we use because they are truly the best fit for our needs.
They have multiple heat settings, but most importantly — they do not automatically shut off like most other heating pads do. Keeping our babies warm is so incredibly important, and these maintain the perfect temperature while being the perfect size to fit our carriers. 🐾

We have a wonderful update on Steele and his foster sisters, Heart, Club, and Spade!
These sweet kittens are all doing very well and growing like they should.
We did have a bit of a scare with little Spade when she suddenly stopped eating and became very weak and lethargic. Thankfully, her amazing foster mom noticed right away and jumped into action, brought her to our wonderful vet and started giving her the extra TLC, support, and nursing care she needed. We are so grateful for her dedication because Spade was able to overcome whatever was going on and is now doing much better. 💕
All four kittens are continuing to thrive, getting bigger, stronger, and closer to being ready for their next adventure. They will be available for adoption soon through one of our wonderful adoption partners!

We are so happy to share that sweet G6 is doing great! This precious polydactyl girl has come such a long way and is almost ready to make the next big step in her journey. Soon, G6 will be heading to one of our adoption partners where she will be spayed and then officially ready to find her forever family.
G6 is a special little girl with extra toes and an extra dose of charm, and we know the perfect family is out there waiting for her.

A few nights ago, we welcomed two newborn kittens into our care after being contacted by the Ferguson Fire Department. The two tiny siblings had been found alone, and while we don't know the exact circumstances they were discovered in, one of the kittens arrived with what appeared to be ash or debris in her mouth. We named her Ashley.
Despite our best efforts, little Ashley passed away overnight. It's possible that she ingested or inhaled whatever was in her mouth before she was found, but there are also many other reasons newborn kittens can decline so quickly. Unfortunately, we may never know exactly why we lost her.

Her brother, Phoenix, is still with us and is doing well so far. We are remaining very cautious, as both kittens were found in the same location and exposed to the same environment. Even so, Phoenix is showing us his fighting spirit, and we won't stop fighting right alongside him. Please keep sweet Phoenix in your thoughts and prayers as he continues his journey. We are hopeful, but every hour is critical for a newborn kitten. Thank you for supporting these fragile little lives and for keeping Phoenix in your hearts.

Today is a big day for Scooter! ❤️

He is undergoing what we hope will be his final reconstructive surgery to correct his knee, which has unfortunately healed into a straight position, which leaves him unable to move it in a way that is helpful to him. The goal is to make his leg at least partially functional and have it heal into a more natural position, so he can use it for balance and have an improved quality of life moving forward.
This has been a long journey, and Scooter has remained his sweet, cuddly self, every step of the way. We're hopeful that this surgery will be the final piece of the puzzle for him.

Please keep Scooter in your thoughts today and send all the positive vibes, prayers, healing energy, and well wishes you can. We know he'll appreciate all the love and support as he heads into surgery and begins his recovery 🐾❤️

Our sweet Chihuahua puppies are on their way to Camp Chaos Puppy Rescue, where they'll be spayed and begin their search for loving forever families!
