Prices of just about everything seem to be going up these days, and unfortunately insurance is no different. Inflation, increased claim volume, and increased claim severity are a few reasons for this.

Rates have gone up industry-wide, but some carriers have had significantly higher increases than others. With this being the case, now is a good time to compare your rates and coverages to make sure you’re in the best spot.

The most efficient way to do this is by using a broker. As a broker, I have the ability to compare rates with 15+ carriers in one clean swoop. If there happens to be a better option available, making the switch is quick and easy. If you’re already in the best spot, you did your due diligence.

***Recent example - I quoted auto and renters insurance for somebody this week who had been with the same carrier for years. They ended up cutting their costs 25% while also doubling their auto coverage.
