This week, Highland Path welcomed Dave Nimmer to speak to a packed house! Dave was a highly respected investigative reporter, former editor for the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Assistant News Director for WCCO & CBS News Minnesota, professor of Journalism at the University of St Thomas and an award winning author.
Dave told stories about his journalism career, retirement years, and the importance of human connection and volunteering as we age.
What a great afternoon!

St. Thomas Cadets had a positive learning experience during their two weeks at Highland Path. These four young men landscaped, helped with special projects, served meals, and learned about life experiences from our residents and staff. They also played a few games and enjoyed social hours and music. We hope they come back to visit!

Those were the days...Highland Path had a fun, nostalgic afternoon with Steve and Kristin of Malt Shop Melodies.

Highland Path was delighted by the talents of Bjorn Briel at social hour this past week. Bjorn has been performing and writing songs on the piano since the age of three, wowing audiences with his compositions throughout the past 25 years. With a repertoire ranging from classical music to pop tunes, his voice and piano skills are a source of joy.

Family comes first at Presbyterian Homes & Services. These three siblings have not seen each other in years. But we at Highland Path brought them together and it was just like old times!

The vibrant colors, the floral smells, Highland Path's outing to Highland Nursery was a real treat for the senses and a success for shoppers looking to add fresh florals and lush greenery to their garden pots and planters...'tis the season! 🌿🌷🪻

The immensely talented string quartet 'At Home With Haydn' entertained us before our weekly social hour in the Community Room this week. What a treat that was!

Not one but DOUBLE the fun and happiness during a surprise puppy visit!
