Kitchen table update. You’ve seen these pedestal tables - the wood, the orange, they’re everywhere! I picked this one up for $5 at my favorite local thrift store. Sanded and stained with Minwax Special Walnut.

The chairs were also thrifted and I love that some are different. General Finishes Lamp Shade was the perfect black. Then finished with the Dead Flat by

After 6 years, it was time for this beautiful piece to be updated. I had a summer bucket list before going back to teaching and this was on it. I wanted more warm tones in our master bedroom and this was exactly what I envisioned! Stripped to the natural wood, bleached and finished with Annie Sloan Clear Wax.

It’s been a busy summer for F&G-lots of commissioned pieces. I am loving these light neutral colors. Also check out the original hardware 🦁! @ Saint Paul, Minnesota

I’m so in to the raw wood look lately. It does take some TLC to strip the furniture down to its natural color but when you do, it’s well worth the extra time

I’ve had this table since September and have been back and forth about what I wanted to do with it. I decided to strip it down to the bare bones and apply a white wax. The finish is milky and very pretty. This color is so popular right now and I can see why. It is for sale even though it’s going to be hard to part with! @ Saint Paul, Minnesota

Found this fancy round farmhouse table for $3 at the local thrift store. $3 you guys! With a little help from Annie Sloan we were able to make it lovely again. Now, if it would just warm up so I could get to work on more projects! @ Saint Paul, Minnesota

The hustle of the holidays is almost over and I can almost catch my breath. Designed this wreath for my dad, the avid cyclist, for Christmas. It was a hit! I’m thinking I may start selling on Etsy so keep an eye out!

Picked this gorgeous piece from the curb, in the rain. Layered the paint with 3 colors from then sealed with black wax. With a little help from Brasso, the original hardware turned out perfect. To make it extra special, I lined the drawers with pretty fabric. It is for sale, DM me for the deets! .

This dresser was my first makeover. It was my grandma’s (boy do I miss her). French Provincial is everything. Thinking I’m going to put a different finish on the handles for a change.

I had to act fast on this 1920’s buffet because it was a steal. Thank goodness for teacher summers! It was a finicky piece (much like a 100 year old lady might be) but has beautiful detail. Can’t wait to pass it along to my MIL
