Neurofeedback has absolutely changed our families life.Makell went from having severe ADHD- bordering on the autism spectrum, about 3-4 grade levels behind in her emotional maturity had trouble making friends, failing school, and extreme emotions, to on medication. She was on grade level with her emotional maturity and getting 4.0s in school but high strung and tensewith not great self esteem. She went from not being able to read a sentence to reading a book from start to finish. Homework that would take 5 hours to get finished every night with so much crying to 20 min and she was done... but even though there werent the huge emotional extremes. She wasnt happy.Since starting Neurofeedback in July- she was off all medication in 3 weeks- she literally just didnt need it anymore and it was too strong.... even the smallest dose at 5mg a day. She is smiling and happy, her emotions are actually self regulating, she is maintaining a 3.8 grade point average. She had a rough start in school but has finally found her stride and has REALLY cruised with her Neurofeedback and emotional maturity. Like A-LOT.Most kids develop a ton in 6th grade, but Makells already matured the amount most kids do in an entire school year and its only been 3 months and we still arent done yet.Its just been absolutely amazing. She actually talks and is present. There isnt a constant distraction behind her eyes, like Makell has never been able to maintain eye contact with me. Ever. With or without medication.Now she actually looks AT ME.I feel like I finally get to see my daughter, shes not hiding in her mind anymore. Its hard to put it all into words but the best part is that she is happy. Doing the Neurofeedback was helpful to me.I personally needed more than twenty sessions, as I had a crisis in the middle of my rounds, but I do feel the program helped me deal with the event with more calm than I would have had otherwise. This place honestly and SURPRISINGLY did change my life After experiencing some mind blowing traumas in recent years I developed PTSD so badly I felt like my heart was always racing toward a panic attack and my memory was shot. This new version of nuerofeedback is at least 7 times more effective then the other place I went to. They solved my issue in 10 sessions when I was stuck for years.Nuerofeedback has changed my life I went from wanting to kill myself to waking up feeling happy.
