People assumed I moved on, but moving on and healing aren’t the same thing.
For a long time, I was really good at looking like I was fine.
I could function.
I could go to work, be a high achiever and lead. I could show up, smile real big, and even hold events! I could make life look perfect from the outside.
But inside, there were still patterns running that I didn’t even know were even there.
Patterns from abuse.
Those patterns looked like survival. Trying to keep the peace and always being the strong one. I made sure everyone else was okay before I ever checked in with myself.
THAT is one of the reasons I do the work I do now.
Because leaving is one part. Surviving is one part. And rebuilding is one part.
But actually healing the emotional imprints that shaped how I loved, led, trusted, spoke, received, and protected myself?
That was a whole different layer.
I didn’t just want to move on. I wanted to be free and that is what The Spiral opened for me.

Red Lotus Life currently has 11 ASWB CE pilot tests available for social workers and behavioral health professionals.
These pilot tests are free while pilot testing requirements are being fulfilled.
Eligible participants can receive free ASWB CEs after completing all required components, including the course content, posttest, evaluation, and pilot test materials.
As an ASWB ACE Provider, Red Lotus Life is committed to creating continuing education that is trauma-informed, practical, meaningful, and deeply human.
Our work is rooted in lived experience, professional education, and a deep commitment to supporting healing after domestic violence, abuse, human trafficking, and trauma.
We believe professionals need trainings that speak to the real human experience, not just theory.
These pilot tests help us finalize our CE courses while giving professionals access to free CE opportunities while they are open.
Social workers and behavioral health professionals can view the current pilot tests on the website.

Our work is rooted in lived experience, professional education, and a commitment to supporting deeper healing after domestic violence, abuse, human trafficking, and trauma.
We were originally asked by social workers to create specific trainings based on what they were seeing in schools, families, and clinical settings.
Now that those initial obligations are complete, we are expanding into courses that are more specific to the work we do, including:
